The Advanced Health and Wellness Coach Training Program prepares participants for effective professional practice in which coaching approaches and competencies are applied to help people increase their quality of life. This program will introduce coach candidates to evidence-based methods and techniques that help clients build self-confidence and self-management skills while addressing their personal barriers, identifying their own solutions, and achieving their health & wellness goals.
Throughout this training participants will:
Review behavioral theory frameworks
Practice motivational interviewing and health coaching
Learn a guiding style of communication
Discover resources and tools to assist the coach in becoming a more effective member of the healthcare team
Receive onsite feedback from instructors and peers
