Health & Wellness Coaching is about generating transformative lifestyle experiences. We help people maintain a healthy, balanced life- wherever life may take them.
The post-baccalaureate certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching prepares students for effective professional practice and the eligibility to apply for a national certifying exam to become a certified health and wellness coach. The health and wellness coaching profession has emerged to address an urgent and widespread need to help people increase the quality and the number of years of a healthy life. According to a 2016 Global Coaching Study by the International Coaching Federation, the average annual income of a coach in the US is $61,900 with advanced-level coaches earning an average of $234 per 1-hour coaching session.
Finish your graduate degree and be eligible to register for the National Health and Wellness Coaching Credential- all while completing your graduate degree program.
The 9-credit hour program will introduce you to evidence-based methods and techniques that help clients build self-confidence and self-management skills while addressing their personal barrier, identifying their own solutions and achieving their health & wellness goals. Once you complete the requirements for the certificate, you are eligible to apply to become a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) established by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC); and Board Certified Coach (BCC) through the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE).
